Yes. You will need to prove to us that you own the number you want displayed. When you subscribe to a Virtual Geographical Number you will have the choice to display that number.

No. We do no support soft phones, you can only use our service with the telephone equipment purchased from our online store.

| 7. When calling other parties, do they also need Ucilia? |
|
No. Calling from Ucilia, you can connect to parties that use any telephone technology (mobile, landline, satellite ...) Calls to regular phones are charged on a per minute basis while those to other Ucilia users are free.

| 8. Do I need my computer running in order to receive calls? |
|
No. If you are using a device that works without a computer such as an IP phone or a telephone adapter, calls will be directed to that device; unanswered calls will be directed to the rules you set in your call management feature, you can have a maximum of four numbers set to ring one after the other. And if after that you still didn't answer, your call will be sent to your Voicemail.
Yes. If you are using a Softphone, your computer and the Softphone must be running in order to receive calls. If your computer is not on or you are unavailable, the call will be directed to your Voicemail. volver al principio |

Yes, your Ucilia account provides you with complete portability. You can access Ucilia from anywhere in the world using a Softphone or a phone adapter. All you need is a high speed internet access.

| 10. Will the Ucilia service interfere with my DSL or cable modem data connection? |
|
No. The Ucilia service routes your incoming and outgoing voice calls right alongside the data being sent to or from your computer. Thus, you can make and receive calls while you use your computer to access the Internet. Ucilia uses advanced audio compression techniques to minimize the data traffic caused by voice calls and maximize the bandwidth available for your other Internet traffic.

| 11. What is my Ucilia account number? |

An Ucilia account Number is generated when you subscribe to Ucilia's services. That number is associated with your account and uniquely identifies the subscriber. Other Ucilia subscribers can call you on that number and you can call other member on their account number. They are only accessible from within Ucilia. Not to be confused with a Virtual Geographical Number.

| 12. Can I receive calls from outside Ucilia if I don't have a Virtual Geographical Number (VN)? |

No. Your Ucilia number allows you to receive calls only from within Ucilia. To be able to receive calls form historical phone operators you will need to subscribe to a Virtual Geographical Number. You can choose from a list of cities from about 50 countries.

It is a pin number that allows you to recharge your Ucilia account with money. Recharge cards can be bought from our resellers.

| 14. How can I release a Virtual Geographical Number? |
|
Go to www.ucilia.com and login to your account. Select the Phone number page, click on the release button near the number you want to release, and click on the Release Number button corresponding to the Public Service Number that you wish to cancel. You subscription will be active till the end of month.

| 15. Can I put the Phone Number I subscribed to on my business cards? |

Yes. As long as you subscription fees are acquitted, and provided that no new laws from the countries of your subscription prevent us from giving you the service, the number is yours.

Both DSL and cable modems provide sufficient bandwidth to support the Ucilia service.

No, you do not need a static IP address to enjoy the advantages of Ucilia. Ucilia is designed to work in a dynamic address (DHCP) environment, such as that available with most home and office gateway routers.
